7 blogging tips to get more views

Ever wonder how to properly share something with your blog and get views? I had my husband say, "If it's good people will come." But blogging doesn't sound that easy does it? You just write a few pretty words and that's exactly what happens? Nah, come on folks. It's not that simple. You don't even have to dish out any money if you want people to read your blog. I'm being serious why dish out money if you don't have to?

Tip 1: Be boss at social networking
Look at the bottom of this blog and you'll see the sharing options. Do not be afraid to use them and don't be afraid to spice them up a bit. I'll explain how to spice up your social site posts at least a little bit better in step number two. Don't start acting like Sonic the Hedgehog yet. There's still stuff here that I want to talk about. It's what social sites are out there.
  • Facebook: Share your blog posts on both your main page and the page to your blog. That means you should be making your own page, just for your blog. I have one called Trixie Von Cupcake, just for stuff like this.
  • Pinterest: Pin your photos if you can. You know what I mean. Pin your stuff like crazy.
  • Twitter: Almost everyone has a Twitter account, even if you're just using it for your blogging stuff it's fine.
  • Tumblr: Tumblr's fun anyways, make friends and share your information.
  • Stumbleupon: Stumbleupon is a site a little bit like Google but it has random stuff that peopple might be intersted in
  • Flipboard: Make yourself special "magazines with stuff you wrote"
  • Google Plus: Share everything you know to your Google Plus, it's that easy.
Tip 2: Spicing up your posts
With stuff like Pinterest, Tumblr and Twitter you're given the option to put hashtags. Don't just put random hashtags because you think that they're cool, use hashtags that mean something. I suggest using sites like, HastagifyRiteTag, and Top Hashtags. The hashtags for this blog are going to be, #blog, #socialmedia #bloggers #content #website #traffic and #tips all of which give someone who's looking for such posts an idea.

Tip 3: Sharing your stuff
I know people will debate on using sites like YouLikeHits, which will retweet, repin, or even share your posts via Facebook, and say that it's not authentic followers. These unauthentic people may be sharing with people who are authentic. It just takes a couple of people who really like what you're writing to share your stuff, or comment on it.  I do not suggest sharing your link to your blog. You Should have authentic people viewing them on their own accord

Social sharing sites:
  • Youlikehits: Twitter, Google Plus, YouTube, VK, Stumbleupon, Pinterest, and Soundcloud
  • Like 4 Like: Facebook, Stumbleupon, Soundcloud, Myspace, Ask.Fm, Reverbnation, 9gag, YouTube, Google Plus, Instagram, Website View, Vine, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, VK, Flikr, Ok.ru
  • Add Me Fast: Facebook, Ok.ru, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Google Plus, Ask.Fm. Pinterest, Stumbleupon, Reverbnation, Sound Cloud, Myspace, VK, and Website Views
  • Link Collider: Twitter, Google+, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Tumblr, Stumbleupon, Websites and Blogs
  • Social Clerk: Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Google Plus, Websites, Delicious, Sound Cloud, Diigo
Sharing Just for Tumblr:
Tip 4: Be a guest blogger
If you know other bloggers, become a guest blogger. Your rep and their rep both go up and when your rep and their rep both go up, the more hits you get as a blogger.

Tip 5: Refer to other blog posts as often as possible
Always try to refer back to another one of your blog posts, at least a few times. It's not easy to remember to do so, I fail at that, but I'm going to try to make more of an effort to do so.

Tip 6: Make your banners pop!
Always make your banners pop, or look cool, they'll be on all of your social networking sites hopefully, and without a popping banner, it's not going to catch as many eyes.

Tip 7: Write as often as possible
Last but not least, try to write as often as you can and be consistant. Try to make a blog post every other day. If you have to both Blogger, and Wordpress have the option of scheduling when your blog gets posted.
