A new addiction

I'm in love with fashion, and I was trying to find me that one fashion game that was cool, but yet unique. There was a ton of searching by the way, just because that's how I am, I am very picky about my fashion games and simulations, they can't be boring or look boring. This one is one of my favorites, as it's nicely made and the clothes on it are very customizable. Oh did I mention that they had makeup, tattoos and piercings yet? Yeah! The game is called Lady Popular

Signing up

When you sign up you're able to pick your eye color hair color, and the basics about your Lady Popular character. When you sign up, you're going to a little tutorial, which shows you all of the buttons and it'll make you do tasks to show you how everything works. You'll make it up to be about a level 9ish when you're done with all your introductory things.

Boyfriends/Fiances

This is Brian my boyfriend. He's a car racer. He isn't handsome, but he's my boyfriend.

In lady popular, you have a boyfriend. No they are not real people, they're virtual boyfriends. My boyfriend's name is Brian Walker, he's a car racer and he gives me 10% generosity boost. With a boyfriend you have a few things you can do, and you should do, or he will break up with you.
With a boyfriend you can:

  1. Flirt flirting is a must or else you're not going to get a boyfriend.
  2. Kiss him
  3. Talk with him on the phone
  4. Go on dates with him
  5. Give him gifts
  6. Break up with him
As you show your boyfriend affection, like in the dating world, if you have a connection he can buy you gifts and you can get engaged.

Battling in the Fashion Arena

My chart (I'm purple frost by the way)

The arena itself.

To be Lady Popular there's a lot of battling in the arena, you train your doll. In areas like devotion, creativity, style, generosity, and whichever there may be. The stronger you are the easier it will be to beat your opponent. Your boyfriend also gives you some of your popularity boosts, as for Brian, he gives me 10% generosity.

If you win a battle, you're given experience points and money. Money can buy a whole bunch of things, like stuff for your apartment, animals, personality points, or clothes.

Shopping for clothes

It did say the clothes were the main reason why I like the game, because they are easy to customize. You got to the shop to buy your clothing items and change your clothes in the wardrobe. How you dress does effect your style points as well.

Friends

You're able to make friends as well in this game, friends that aren't digital or virtual. A lot of the people playing lady popular appear to be older women, (or men), always feel free to say hi to me if you want to, my user name is PurpleFrost.

Your cellphone

Your cellphone is what gives your quest or your to-do list. In the beginning up until you're past your tutorial, there's only one thing to do at a time and the phone annoyingly blinks, so if there's that person taht may have seizures with blinking lights, I don't suggest Lady Popular at all.

The contests

Last but not least Lady Popular has contests, you're able to vote for whole you want to win and click on their avatar that brings you to their main page, where you can vote for whichever doll you want to win. You can also click the random button in the corner if you're on a voting spree. Whatever you want to do.

The contest things.

Two weeks and counting

I'm sitting here with logic hitting me people young people and people in general that get idolized are often more often than not, only pretty because of plastic surgery, and whatever medical procedures they need to make them think they look good.
So with that said comes some logic that had been on my mind for awhile. I'm 30, I'm not as young as I used to be and I want to age as gracefully as I possibly. So I ended up making me a beauty regimen schedule. Within the beauty, regimen is Insta Natural's Retinol Moisturizer, a retinol serum, and the nightly cream I posted the other day. My regimens have a list of what I need to do twice a day, what I need to do once a day, or what is important to do only at night. The logic goes if I want my skin to age gracefully, unlike the celebrities, or if I want the nicer looking skin, the only person that can help me is myself.

After I start doing my regimen for two weeks I will update everyone on how well everything works.

*I received the in free in exchange for my honest opinion and during this experiment, I am not persuaded by the price*

Get taller

Copied text to clipboard:
I don't know why this item wasn't mentioned weeks ago, I thought I posted about it, but I guess I was wrong. With that said I'm going to make this review short and sweet because it's really all you can do about this type of item. What is the item you ask? It's a stool! A children's step stool that has saved me from the dangers of standing on a counter. Nobody wants me to do that, it would a be a one way trip to the hospital.

With the cute little green stool I have no fears about not being able to reach something on the top of the cabinet or anything out of my reach. It's rugged, sturdy, and as I said very cute. I'm pretty sure the stool is going to be one of my best friends for a long time.

*This product was free in exchange my honest opinion*

Walmart Beauty Box

While I will not talk about it yet review wise and I don't want everyone to get mad about my spoilers but I received my Walmart Beauty Box. I can't really give a box break down because all of this stuff is sample size, and all I really pay for is the shipping on the box. But here's my box.
A quick overview of what came in the box
Aveeno Lotion

Cruel Hydrotherapy
I have so much of this stuff, and Jergen's wet lotion I'm sure
I'm not going to be dry anytime soon

Bathsoak

Loreal Lotion

Dove soap

Neutrogena Moisture Smooth color stick
I'm allergic to what's in it so I gave it to my neighbors

More Sites to get freebies

Last night in the midst of not being able to sleep yet again. Insomnia bites. The worst part of insomnia is the fact that I don't get to catch up on my sleep and I'm always tired. I don't want to be tired. But since I was catching up on my blogging, and seeing what programs are out there I have some more interesting places where you can get stuff for your blogs as well. All of which are mostly the same with some differences.

Buzz Agent:  Answer the qualifier survey's, which are not always active but they do have times when they're active. They'll ask you questions to better get to know you, and see if you're the right fit for the community which is easy if you know what you're doing. For instance, today's survey was "Do you suffer from allergies?" It asked me if I had allergies and what my symptoms were for. Which I'm not sure if they're going to have a campaign going on about their products soon or what. But it's good to answer your surveys as they come.

Snuggle Community: It's probably best to remind all of us 90's folk who actually had a snuggle bear how awesome it was to use Snuggle. Now you can get snuggle products to review for free! What a great deal!

Generation Good: For mothers, babysitters, or whoever wants more eco-friendly stuff, this is for you. Generation Good has

KY Community: This community is only for people 18 and older because of it's content. They're getting your opinion on adult stuff like condoms, lube, vibrators and stuff you'd expect from KY.

Simple Solutions: These guys offer stuff like Arm & Hammer and products. Well, just Arm and Hammer products nothing more or nothing less than that. I think they're fairly new so don't be surprised if you don't have anything yet.

Mucus Fighters: Yum mucus in the morning! This is a great site to have to help and to learn about how to stay healthy and get Americas favorite mucus medicine.

Crowd Tap: There are a lot of things to do on Crowdtap besides the whole

Instyle: You know these guys from their magazines, their amazingly awesome magazines. But did you know you can test new products with InStyle? Just fill out your name and the information provided to be put on their mailing list.

House Party & Chatter Box: These are the same company so I lumped them together, you're able to have a house party, with stuff they send you. For example, I was sent Peter Pan Peanut butter last time, which was so good.
Allure Beauty Enthusiasts: This site mainly gives out samples for beauty and beauty related stuff as it's said in their name.
Mills Advisory Panel: You get to take surveys and sample products. You even get paid for sampling and trying products so it's a win-win situation.

Day 3 30 day challenge: "How to be a cat!"

I haven't done it for while but I'm back to writing challenge day 3 sounded more exciting than it's ever been. It's a 15 step process on how to be a cat. I thought it'd be unique.

Please ignore some of my silly pop culture references.

  1. Get a new name. I'm sure there's not a cat named Tina, Gene, or Gale.
  2. Get a tail and ears. Not all cats have tails but tails are sort of cute.
  3. Seclude yourself from others. Most cats don't like people.
  4. Buy a litter box
  5. Scratch on furniture.
  6. Meow at random things.
  7. Run around the house in the morning
  8. Knock stuff off of bookshelves and dressers.
  9. Puke up hairballs
  10. Use the litter box you bought in step 4
  11. Eat and sleep all the time
  12. learn to purr, and meow
  13. Lay on top of your master's warm computer
  14. Fight with the other cats in the house
  15. Pick yourself your own human

Free Mommy Boxes

While I don't have a new baby or anytime soon, there are some places to get some free baby things. I have I figured I'd find out about these pages for some very important ladies on my Facebook, which I love very much. You gals know exactly who I"m talking to. Yes I love you. Heck, I was able to help my neighbor who needed a baby bottle one day, so if you're a nice person and want to donate your boxes you're more than welcome to it's all up to you. You can refer back to my previous post about places to get free suff.

The only thing I hadn't signed up for was the Amazon stuff, because I really don't have a wee one, and I didn't want to spend $10 for my reborn doll and a new pair of clothes for her. But Gwen is a good model if there's something like diapers or an outfit. She doesn't mind wearing them.

Place One: Amazon:

So how exactly do you get these free things from Amazon?  You will need to have Amazon Prime or else you're not going to be able to get the box. If you haven't used your free 30 days of Prime, now will be a good time.

  1. Click on this link here
  2. Find an item for each sub catagory. Such as out and about, you'll need to add a carrier, stroller, travel system, car seat, and a play yard for your little tyke. You don't have to be picky and choosy, just click on what you want (or if you want to use this for your baby registry).
  3. Buy something for baby for $10. It doesn't matter what it is.
Place Two: Enfamil
This is an easy form to fill out here all of which should be simple, unless you are I who don't have a baby and had to mathematically think of a magical due date of my magical baby.  Which I will never have but, because I am trying all the links before giving them out I had to do that.

Place Three The Imagination Library
Either if you're a parent or a parent to be, Dolly Pardon offers free books from the ages 2-5. Which of course is great for any parent. Books are a great part of a growing mind. While not all locations are available, feel free to try.

Place Four Similac
Even if you're not going to use Similac instead of Enfamil, you're able to fill out the form and you're ready to go. Again the questions shouldn't be anything difficult.

Place Five Target
You'll have to fill out a baby registry with Target to get the stuff. But it's pretty easy to make a registry.

Place Six: Walmart Welcome Box
This is a very special welcome box, you input all your information like you did the last few times and you're sent a welcome box. I have ordered one of these once to see what was in them. You get diapers, ointment, and a ton of other things that are great for new parents.

Place Seven:  Sams Club Welcome Box
Sams Club and Walmart are two different boxes by the way. Which they do send different items for the little bundle of joy. This is another great box, it has detergent, diaper rash cream wipes and a ton of other important things for a new baby.

Place Eight Generatation Good
Generation Good is a lot like Mom's meet and the other pages that I have talked about in one of my previous blogs while it's a hit and miss there are tons of items that you may be eligiable for.
